Homologation for numeric portability moves on

The Public Services National Authority (ASEP, in Spanish) started the homologation process for the implementation of Numeric Portability in Panama, becoming this an important step for Panamanians to become owners of their mobile and fixed numbers this same year.

A press release from the entity points out that the list of petitions includes supply , installment, operation, updating, maintenance and technical support of the equipments and systems of a reference entity that´ll be operated by ASEP.

The Numeric Portability  is the right customers have to keep their fixed and mobile telephone numbers and among the benefits it provides are a better quality services, better prices and promotions, more coverage and new services, among others.
