Symposium on Clean Production

 

From March 10 to 11 will take place the fifth International Symposium on Cleaner Production, informed the Industrials´ Union  (SIP, in Spanish) and the National Environment Authority (ANAM), who are organizing this event together.
Juan Francisco Kiener, SIP´s president indicated that national and international experts will attend the symposium to discuss several topics on cleaner production, such as sewage treatment, environmental norms and regulations, emissions from fixed and mobile sources and the financing mechanisms.

The lecturers come from Germany, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Costa Rica, Mexico, El Salvador and Panamá.

 Kiener stressed that one of the main topics at this symposium will be Climate Change and the Clean Development Mechanisms (MDL).
