Accord benefits tourism and trade
The governments of the Republics of Panama and Colombia, had a bilateral meeting on the issue of Air Transport in San Andrés, with the participation of directives from the Civil Aeronautics Authority (AAC) from both countries, in order to achieve a historic accord that will benefit tourism and airlines, accomplishing the Third and Fourth Freedom of Air.
A press release from Panama´s AAC points out that this releases the number and frequency of flights towards both countries. This way, airlines with Colombian plate will be able to travel to any airport in our country , just as Panamanian aircrafts will be able to go to airports of the Republic of Colombia, raising the frequency of flights to both countries. This will increase tourism and commercial activities for both nations , which since 18 years ago were looking to reach a bilateral accord in this sense.
