Panamá could be venue of Movie School
|
The possibility that a Movie School might be established in Panama and the filming of two movies whose investment is around US$2 million, were the topics discussed by Foreign Trade Viceminister, José Domingo Arias, with actor Franco Nero and the recognized filmmaker, Enzo G. Castellari , who are on visit in Panama.
During the meeting, Viceminister Arias expressed that the current government is very interested in providing the cinematographic industry “all the necessary encouragement” , so that those who want to make movies in Panama will get support and successfully achieve their projects.
“We want Panama to become a focal point for the film industry,” Arias said. He was accompanied by the Director of the Movie Commission of the Ministry of Trade and Industries, , Daphne Burgos and by a group of advisors. .
