The Marriott family welcomes their newest member

Twenty eight countries world wide have enjoyed the benefits this trademark intended for intrepid travelers, who look for a hotel that reflects the local culture and that allows them to enjoy the experience while they conduct business.
Close to US$40 million will be invested by Marriott International, Inc. on the new hotel of the Renaissance trade mark, which will be introduced in 2011, under a management agreement with Hotel Properties of Panama, Inc. Ed Fuller, president and managing director of international lodging for Marriott International, also announced that the Renaissance Panama Hotel will be part of a project of mixed-use twin towers. In the first, the hotel will operate with 300 rooms and 150 residential apartments and the second will be destined only to office space.

It will be located in the banking district, next to the Hotel Panama Marriott. Both hotels will be connected to allow the guests to move from a hotel to the other with freedom. Fuller describes the Renaissance client as a vibrant, dynamic, adventurous person, who is looking for something more contemporary and more closely tied to the local scene. However, the Marriott client is more traditional and wishes to feel at home. Both types of guests will be able to be affiliated with the Marriott frequent traveler program Rewards, which have 30 million members world wide.
